Luxe Fashion Sewing Course (Ages 10 - 18)

Step into the world of luxury fashion and experience what it’s like to design with intention, elegance and precision. This unique course invites students to explore the codes behind iconic fashion houses such as Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Gucci, and reinterpret them into a simple yet beautifully finished outfit of their own.

As part of the programme, students will take a short supervised trip to Sloane Street and Knightsbridge with our Director (just a 10-minute journey), to observe luxury boutiques up close. We’ll explore what makes these brands so successful — from their silhouettes and colour palettes to craftsmanship, branding and storytelling.

Rather than creating a complex haute couture piece, students will focus on designing a sleek, timeless outfit inspired by luxury fashion — learning that true luxury is often found in fit, finish and detail. Projects will be tailored to experience and ability, ensuring beginners and more advanced students are equally supported.

There is a strong emphasis on professional finishing techniques, craftsmanship and slowing down the making process to achieve beautiful results.

You will explore and learn how to:
• Take inspiration from luxury fashion houses and translate it into your own designs
• Understand what makes brands like Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Gucci so iconic
• Design a refined, elegant garment with a clear luxury aesthetic
• Develop a cohesive colour palette and timeless silhouette
• Pattern cut with accuracy and intention
• Sew using professional techniques, including fine hand sewing
• Explore hand embroidery and embellishment
• Create your own designer name and logo
• Understand the importance of branding, craftsmanship and attention to detail

Whilst building valuable skills such as:
• Precision and patience
• Advanced hand and machine sewing
• Fabric knowledge and garment structure
• Design development and visual research
• Confidence in creative decision-making
• An understanding of luxury fashion standards

You will leave with:
• Design development and inspiration sheets
• A refined, luxury-inspired outfit designed and made by you
• Your own designer name and logo concept
• A digital certificate of completion

What you need:
• A packed lunch, snacks and a reusable water bottle each day
• All fabrics, materials and sewing equipment are provided

• Monday to Friday, 10.00am – 4.00pm
