This will be an uplifting exploration of inversions and the anatomical philosophy of amṛta, the nectar of vitality said to flow when the body is aligned in conscious balance.
This all-level workshop will gently guide you towards an inversion of your choice, not for aesthetic achievement but to experience inner stillness and energetic flow.
Using props for support and steadiness, we will build strength, awareness and confidence as we turn our perspective upside down - quite literally - to taste the sweetness that descends when effort meets ease.

Lauren has been teaching yoga for over 13 years, initially training with Himalaya Yoga Valley of the Himalayan Institute lineage. Since then, Lauren has trained with many esteemed teachers, including Bridget Woods Kramar, Shiva Rea and Kamal & Jhanavi from Samadhi Collective.
Her brain is happiest when making connections through the vast teachings and philosophies of yoga and the broader world through language, mythology and movement.
Equipment required: yoga mat, bolster or cushion/pillow and a blanket
