This course is for those interested in learning a routine in our Improvers Tap class with Ceris, to perform at our DSL Show on the 25th of November in Leeds.
This course is only open to those who are able to take part in the show on Saturday the 25th of November, so please do not book if you are unable to make or not interested in performing.
This course will go on sale on the 27th of August to our regular attendees & newsletter subscribers & then will go on general sale on the 3rd September.
Our Improvers Tap Class will joining forces with our Beginners Tap class for this years routines, therefore rehearsals will take place as follows:
10th Oct-7th November - 8-8:30pm (just Improvers)
8:30-9pm (Beginners & Improvers)
9-9:30pm (just Beginners)
This will give each group chance to learn their own sections, and then work on putting them together with transitions, plus learning some full group sections.
14th-21st November will be full group rehearsals with both the Improvers & Beginners for the full hour taking place at 8-9pm.
ABOUT CERIS:
Ceris has had a passion for dance since attending her first classes at a young age. Having completed her training at The Urdang Academy and Liverpool John Moores University, she has performed and taught at locations across the country. Ceris works in reception at DSL and teaches various classes, as well as teaching freelance in Yorkshire. Ceris has a real enjoyment for teaching and loves to see her students progressing and most importantly having fun! Ceris also loves performing, whether it be on stage, for events or on television and film.

PARKING: Free Evening and Weekend Parking is available in the complex. Monday – Friday 9-5pm – We have a limited number of permit passes. Please check beforehand if these will be available for use. Free On Street Parking is available for 4hrs on Cherry Row and there is also reasonably priced on street parking on Macaulay Street and Mabgate, operated via an app called ‘Ring Go’ (no cash payments). To DSL: Route 42 – Direction ‘Fearnville’ Stop Number 450 10293 (This bus stop is located across the road from the Mill complex on Lincoln Green Road).
To City Centre: Route 42 – Direction ‘Old Farnley’ Stop Number 450 10292 (This is located a few mins walk along Lincoln Green Road).
TRAIN:
If you are travelling into Leeds by train we are located a 20-25 minute walk from the station.
