Dear all,
You are warmly invited to step into our sacred space to spend the day with us in deep ceremony as we all create our own drum and beater.
We will honour the hoop and the hide before cutting and weaving and turning what was just a thought into a physical drum, right there, with your own hands!
Once the drum and beater have been made, we will journey to meet the drum's spirit. Perhaps you will find out how to use the drum or even learn its name.
At the end of the day the drum and beater are yours to take home, your new sacred ally, ready for the adventures you will go on together.
This truly is a wonderful day and is open to all who hear the drums call.

Start time: 10:30am
End time: Approx 7-7:30pm.
Location: Butterfly Effect Wellbeing Hub, Southern Way, Harlow CM18 7BL (Turn off the road into Latton Bush Centre, Enter large Carpark, venue is on the left separate from the big Latton bush centre building)
Cost: £235. A percentage of all bookings goes towards maintaining Butterfly Effect Wellbeing Hub and its many activities that support community wellbeing.
This is a wonderful day for those that use drums in their personal lives or work lives or wish to bring the drum into their lives! Some hear the call of the drum way before and some wonder why they are there but feel a pull.
The drum is perfect for those interested in sound healing or shamanic work but is equally as valuable to yoga practitioners, cacao facilitators, musicians and those with a person interest in drumming.
No crafty experience is needed, Melonie is a patient and skilled drum maker and will support each person with their own drum birthing journey.
Upon booking you will receive an information sheet including what to bring with you. We will each bring a dish to share for lunch and feast!
You can pay the full amount here or a deposit, balances are due 4 weeks beforehand.
Deposits are non refundable 4 weeks prior. Spaces are limited to 8.

Please note: This is Melonie's cheapest Drum Birthing workshop.
Bring a shared dish for lunch, some blankets and cushions for the drum journey at the end, a towel for wrapping the hide in, any crystal that calls to go in the middle or a selection if you cant choose, a stick around elbow to fingertip length that is not bendy or brittle and feels good to hold for your beater and something for the altar. Ill email you nearer the time with this again :)
