Thursday night course in Basic Cabinet Making. This course will introduce you to the use and maintenance of a range of cabinetmaking tools and joinery techniques.
You will start with a session about the properties of solid timber and manmade boards and the way in which commonly used joints respond to the nature of the materials.
The project for the course will be an ash shelving unit. We will teach you how to build a range of joints to use on this project and future furniture and DIY projects.
The course is suitable for all skills levels. 6.15pm to 9.15pm. ]
