Spend a creative day with us at The Walled Garden, Helen’s Bay, and discover the art of traditional willow weaving. Guided by Heather McDermott, you’ll learn essential techniques to craft your own sturdy domed or open flower supports—perfect for summer roses, delphiniums, and peonies.
You’ll also visit our Salley Garden, where you’ll see firsthand the sustainable and renewable qualities of willow—so please come suitably dressed for outdoor learning!
No experience is needed; this workshop is open to adults of all skill levels (though a little manual dexterity helps).
