A creative 3-day workshop where children will design and make their own handmade notebook completely from scratch.
Across the three sessions, participants will explore traditional craft techniques including papermaking, marbling, and bookbinding, learning how to transform raw materials into a beautiful finished notebook to take home.
This is a relaxed, hands-on workshop designed to encourage creativity, experimentation, and confidence in a calm and supportive environment. Children will have the opportunity to personalise their notebooks through colour, texture, drawing, writing, and design.
Parents are very welcome to stay and help throughout the sessions if they’d like to. If parents or carers would also like to make their own notebook alongside their child, they are warmly invited to join in — simply book an additional ticket for each participating adult.
By the end of the workshop, each participant will leave with a completely unique handmade notebook crafted entirely by them.
Led by an artist, writer, and qualified teacher with over 10 years’ experience working with children. Enhanced DBS checked and fully insured.

Weitere Informationen
Please ensure children (and any participating adults!) wear clothes suitable for messy, hands-on activities, as some materials used during papermaking and marbling may stain. Aprons will be provided where possible.
All materials are included. Participants are welcome to bring along any sketches, ideas, or inspiration they may like to incorporate into their notebooks.
Parents and carers are very welcome to stay during the sessions and help if they’d like to. If adults would also like to make their own notebook alongside their child, please ensure an additional ticket has been booked for each participating adult.
As the workshop progresses across all three days, attending each session will help participants get the most out of the experience and complete their finished notebook.
