Within every session, you will indulge in a variety of painting techniques and multi media activities; play and experiment with new painting materials, learn new techniques, paint something awesome you couldn't previously imagine- all whilst boosting your health and wellbeing! Making beautiful items is fun!... Full guidance is given and all tools and materials supplied.
Creativity is a practice, not a talent... just like a yoga or exercise class; the more you practice, the better you get! ... and as a bonus, art is great for health and wellbeing. :) I look forward to you joining the adventure!

A designer and in business for over 25 years I`ve worked with councils, commercial and private businesses, community groups, charities and private individuals. For the past nine years I have offered creative art and design workshops sharing what I love; the ability to create and craft beautiful items whilst reflecting on the health benefits creativity offers.
About the Venue-
Gladstone's Library is a unique institution. It is the UK's finest residential library, boasting 26 bedrooms, an on-site restaurant and a comfortable guest lounge. It is also the UK's only Prime Ministerial library and was built following a bequest from William Ewart Gladstone, Victorian statesman and four times Prime Minister of Great Britain. The current building, raised in 1902 and designed by John Douglas, was funded by public subscription. The organisation is a self-sustaining registered charity: every donation made and pound spent here goes directly into maintaining the site and the collections it protects.
The venue hosts a lively programme of events which include talks, workshops, masterclasses and residential courses.
The world-famous Reading Rooms house thousands of books, including the Gladstone Collection, which comprises items from Gladstone's own personal library. It is also home to several unique archival collections, making it a destination for scholars from across the globe.
The Reading Rooms are silent study spaces, offering writers, researchers and readers a space in which to think and work. A number of published works, including academic books and bestselling novels have been produced here. You can become a Reader to access and make use of our Reading Rooms and is free to sign up

Please arrive 10 minutes early so as you can grab refreshments from the restaurant and settle into the workshop. Refreshments are not included in this art class. Please wear older clothing just in case- we tend not to get messy in this art class but you never know!
Parking is on site; there is more than enough parking for all.
