Welcome the New Year with a restful day of soothing yoga, deep relaxation, delicious food and time in the spa at the beautiful Thornton Hall Hotel in the heart of the Wirral.

Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa is a privately owned four star hotel located on the Wirral peninsular. Nestled in acres of peaceful countryside the hotels own luxury holistic spa is renowned as one of the top destination spas in the UK.
We will spend the day in the beautiful Cristal suite, which features private facilities, and stunning views of the landscaped gardens.
The day will include a blend of hatha and restorative yoga, breath work, meditation and relaxation.
Refreshments are included, including-
Arrival tea & coffee
Mid morning tea, coffee & Granola pots
Jacket Potatoes with a selection of Fillings, Salad & Coleslaw – Vegan & Vegetarian fillings will be available
Afternoon tea, coffee, & warm Cookies

Provisional itinerary -
1000 - arrivals and welcome with tea / coffee
1030 - 1145 hatha yoga or time in spa
1145 - 1215 morning break
1215 - 1330 hatha yoga or time in spa
1330 - 1430 lunch
1430 - 1545 restorative yoga
1545 - 1615 afternoon tea break
1615 - 1645 yoga nidra
1645 - goodbyes
Included in the price is access to the swimming pool and spa area, where you can enjoy time in the hot tub, sauna, steam room, or the snow room if you're feeling adventurous ! Weather permitting we can enjoy the hot tubs in the garden.

You are very welcome to book a treatment in the spa directly with the hotel.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your yoga equipment -
Yoga mat
Yoga block (not essential)
Yoga belt (or a dressing gown belt)
2 pillows
2 Cushions
1or 2 blankets
Swimming gear (costume and towel - the spa will provide towels for £1.30, and possibly a dressing gown)
Slippers (not essential)
You might like an eye mask or scarf to cover your eyes
If you're going in the snow cave, I recommend flip flops or sliders, because the floor is very cold ! And if you want to stay in there for the recommended 2 minutes, thats too long with bare feet.
And anything else you think you need to maximise your comfort. I know its a lot to carry but the restorative poses require all these supports so the body can totally relax).
