The perfect introduction to Ballet. This course will cover the fundamentals of a ballet class and give participants the confidence to join a weekly class. You don't have to be extremely flexible, extremely strong or extremely anything to join a dance class...you just have to be you and you just have to want to dance! If you want to try Ballet but don't know where to start, this is the perfect course for you. This 5 week course is for learners with no previous ballet experience or for those who might need refreshing. This course will build each week developing your knowledge and introducing you to ballet technique and terminology to give you the confidence to join a weekly class.
Adults are not expected to wear a particular uniform, wear what you feel comfortable in but make sure it’s not restrictive. Your regular gym wear is absolutely fine. Ballet shoes are best but if you don't have them then socks with a grippy sole will be fine. Bring water and please tie long hair up, off the face. No dangly jewellery. This course builds each week so it is essential that all dates can be attended.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
The Ballet Basis course fee is payable at the time of booking to secure your space. If you are unable to attend, cancellations with 1 week notice or more will be refunded and your space will be opened up to the waiting list. Any cancellations after this time will not be refunded.
