DIG IT DOGS EVENING STEEPLECHASE SHOWS at The Livery at Springbank Farm, Bradwall Rd, Sandbach CW11 1RB

6.30pm setting up and 7pm judging starts.

Closing Date: When 30 dogs have entered.
VENUE: The Livery at Springbank Farm, Bradwall Rd, Sandbach CW11 1RB

One HUGE ring in the outdoor OR indoor arena with a sand and fibre surface. Post and rail fencing which is not dog proof.

Toilets on site.
There's no off lead exercise area for these shows.
Horses will be at the venue but not in the field adjoining the outdoor arena.

Shows open: 6.30pm
Judging Commences: 7pm

CLASSES: 4 runs per dog

ENTRIES £19.00 for a block of 4 runs.

LEVELS:
1) Beginners and Not Beginners classes. Separate awards for each height categories.

Every level will run the same course.

SCHEDULE OF CLASSES: Every level will run the same course.

Please note: the course will be the same for all heights. Course walking will be together at the start of each class. Not each height.
Competitors need to be aware of progress of each ring throughout the day.

It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure they do not miss their classes.

STEEPLECHASE MARKING OF CLASSES
Marking of Classes:
Classes will be marked according to standard Kennel Club rules with the following exceptions:
 None of the following will be used in any course: well, wall, table.
A silent toy may be carried in the ring during competition in Beginners and Anysize classes. The dog may not touch the toy once it has started its round and the toy must not be given to the dog until the dog has crossed the finish line. In Veteran and Anysize classes the dogwalk and A-frame will be lowered and there will be no weaves.
Course times: 60 seconds

AWARDS: Rosettes awarded to 3rd place. Trophies for 1st place in Beginners Only classes.

RUNNING NFC: We are happy for any handlers to run their dogs not for competition. However to be fair to those running for competition we ask that you do not use food in the ring and that you either run both runs NFC or your second run. It is not possible to run the first run NFC and the second for competition as this may give an unfair advantage. Please inform the scribe if you are running NFC. You have 60 seconds to train in the ring.

SHOW RULES:

Dogs under the age of 16 calendar months on the first day of the show are not eligible to compete at the DIG IT DTC shows.
DIG IT DTC reserve the right to refuse entries.
No person shall carry out punitive correction or harsh handling of a dog at any time within the boundaries of the Show.
Withdrawal of dogs from Competition - A dog shall be withdrawn from competition and removed from a Hoopers Show if it is: a. A bitch, which is in season. b. Suffering from any infectious diseases or contagious disease. c. Interfering with the safety or chance of winning of an opponent. d. Of such temperament or is so much out of hand as to be a danger to the safety of any person or other animal. e. Likely to cause suffering to the dog if it continues competing.
Dogs must be kept under control, and on lead, except when competing or within the exercise area.
Dogs must not wear any type of slip, half slip collar or lead whilst competing. A flat close fitting leather or webbing collar is permitted. No tags please.
Competitors are required to report for allocated ring duties, to help with the smooth running of the show.
The judges decision is final.
Food shall not be carried in the hand or given to the dog whilst in the competition ring.
All dogs and competitors enter at their own risk, and must agree to the declaration on the online entry form. 11. Entry fees will not be refunded after the closing date.
In the event that the show has to be cancelled, DIG IT DOGS reserve the right to deduct unrecoverable expenses incurred before returning entry fees.
Please park only where directed. Only use designated exercise areas. All other areas are out of bounds. 14. Judges may run their own dog for competition when not scheduled to judge.
Please respect our venue and pick up after your dogs and dispose of all rubbish responsibly. Anyone not doing so will be asked to leave the venue forfeiting any remaining entries and may be excluded from future DIG IT DTC shows.
Competitors are responsible for ensuring that they are available for their classes. 17. Have fun!!!
CATERING:
There will be NO catering for this show.
