To coincide with National Iyengar Yoga Day 2026, Dorset and Hampshire Iyengar Yoga would like to offer new students the opportunity to come and sample Iyengar yoga for FREE!
Whether you are an experienced yogi or a complete beginner, we hope you will come along and experience for yourself the fascinating Iyengar yoga style.
Iyengar yoga is a well established, thorough method of yoga with many physical and mental health benefits that is safe for all to practise, whatever your age, body shape, ability or level of flexibility.
Four local teachers will each be offering a 45 minute taster session, with attendees able to attend up to two sessions each. There will also be opportunity to meet and talk to the teachers around the classes, with hot drinks and biscuits provided.
Tickets will be limited for this FREE event, so please book early to avoid disappointment!
Each of our local teachers approaches their practice and teaching in their own way, and we invite you to come experience their teachings for yourselves.

Level: Beginner
The venue will be available to attendees between 9am and 12am. Please ensure you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your booked session(s).
There will be a 15 minute break between sessions, and after the last session, for you to rest, recover, and chat with our teachers and DHIY representatives.
Complimentary tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided.
There are no requirements for attendees - you're welcome to attend no matter your fitness level, age, or prior yoga experience.
Attendees must bring their own yoga mat.
If you have yoga blocks, bricks, belts, blankets, or bolsters, bringing those may be helpful, though is not required.
