Workshop: Exploring Fertility

Sara Le Turcq (@agentlehealing) will lead an afternoon workshop for a small group* of women to connect with their experiences and challenges around fertility and menstrual health.

Sara is a massage therapist and energy healer based in London. Her journey through her own challenges with fertility has led her to research and experiment with a wide array of healing techniques, progressively extending her understanding of the principles underpinning health, and reproductive health in particular. There will be space to explore our personal journeys and experiences collectively, through the lens of an interactive talk with Sara, in which she will introduce the various dimensions of health, ranging from the physical to the spiritual. We will also have time to reflect individually through introspective exercises.

The workshop will begin with a gentle body-based practice - led by Laura Gilbert (@embodied.offerings) - to arrive in our bodies, and she will close the workshop with a sound bath, which will offer space for integration of the topics explored and feelings which might arise during the afternoon. Laura is a certified yoga and meditation teacher and sound therapist. She previously trained as a dancer and believes that embodiment allows for an immersive connection to the self and the natural world.

This workshop is neither a private consultation nor encyclopedic survey of the topic, but an opportunity for women to contact their own reproductive journey, discover which area might be challenged, or simply take some time to honour the child bearing power in themselves. Its aim is to explore alternatives to Western medicine’s chemical and ‘one size fits all’ approach, wherever you are on your journey, with or without known plans or desires towards motherhood.
