Details

This project is designed to support secondary early career teachers (teachers in their first two years of teaching) in developing specialist knowledge for teaching mathematics, thus enabling them to understand, teach and support pupils in maths in the classroom.

The Work Group will support participants to design effective learning and teaching in mathematics in the area of statistics and probability.

Participants will look deeply at this area of maths, drawing on the associated pedagogy, and activities will include lesson analysis and lesson design. This programme will take place across the equivalent of four days.

There will be 3 face to face sessions and two online twilight sessions.

  • Please note that 13th January and 21st April are the online sessions

Work Group Lead: Zoe Nye (Bishop Grosseteste University)
