Sustainability in Golf Seminar

Details

Golf club management is already being impacted by climate change, and sustainability is becoming increasingly important across golf facilities. This event will provide updates on the current issues facing golf, information about how your club can become more sustainable, and the benefits of doing so.

In conjunction with The R & A, England Golf are working to educate golf clubs on the Sustainability Drive, and this morning of education aims to provide you with insights as to how best your golf club can move forward.

We will also be joined by colleagues from the Environment Agency, who will be doing a joint presentation with the Mersey Rivers Trust about their ‘dispelling the myths’ campaign, highlighting the options golf clubs have when it comes to water management in the area, and the tools you need to manage water more effectively on site.

Further speakers tbc.

A light lunch will be provided.

Please note - this session is aimed at the General Manager/Secretary, Chair of Greens and Green Staff. Maximum of 2 attendees per club.
