Details

Do you have an idea that you'd like to develop and explore? Are you interested in hearing about how Humanities and Social Sciences researchers have become entrepreneurs, either after or while completing their DPhil? If so, come along to this interactive workshop in which you will hear from a panel of entrepreneurs and be challenged to solve a business case study. All in a relaxed, supportive environment. You will also be able to find out about how you can take your ideas (business, social enterprise, or otherwise) to the next level with support from within the University.

This workshop will also introduce you to the basic concepts of entrepreneurship and to the Launchpad at the Said Business School. The Launchpad supports the activities of the Skoll Centre and the Entrepreneurship Centre at the Business School, drawing together entrepreneurial endeavour from all parts of Oxford, both within and external to the University. It is a place where students, faculty, and the wider Oxford entrepreneurial community can meet to collaborate, create and strengthen ventures, as well as to share knowledge, practice and connections.

Includes pizza!!
