2024 Victims Walk
Details
The District Attorney's office will host our annual 5-mile Victims Walk on October 27th from 7 am to 10 am. We welcome all people affected by crime and community members who demand the safety of our town, to register and participate in our Victims Walk to take a stand against violent and senseless crimes. The walk will begin at Ascarate Park and end at Ralph T. Cloud Park.
Check-in will be from 6:00 am to 6:30 am.
The walk will begin PROMPTLY at 7:00 a.m.
Instructions
We encourage participants who are honoring a victim to bring signs, banners, etc. to honor their loved ones. Although it is encouraged, it is not mandatory. Bring plenty of water and comfortable walking shoes.
ATTENTION EVENT-GOERS:
- By registering for this event, you consent to have your picture taken at the event and allow us to use it in future promotional material and social media posts.
- All participants are participating at their own risk, on a voluntary basis
- Participants are responsible for their own safety for the entire duration of the event. Our office is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damage during this event
- Participants understand this is physical activity, it is their responsibility to check in with their doctor to know they are in good health and physically capable of completing the walk.
