Web of Science: Advanced features

The Web of Science platform provides a common search language, navigation environment, and data structure allowing researchers to search broadly across disparate resources and use the citation connections inherent to the index to navigate to relevant research results and measure impact.

During this training, we will cover:

• Navigate the platform, search the literature using the basic search functions
• Evaluate results with sorting and refining options, quick filters, analysis functions
• Navigate the Citation Network, Cited References and Citation Report
• View, save and export results, get full text
• Managing the personal area available to registered users: Search history, Marked lists, Saved searches and Alerts, Custom Homepage
• Search extended content in the Web of Science ecosystem
• 15 minutes Q&A
