Presentation of the report and related guidelines by Prof. Thouvenin.
Within the ETH Open Research Data Programme, the Steering Committee mandated the Center for Information Technology, Society, and Law hosted by the University of Zurich and lead by Prof. Dr. Florent Thouvenin to analyse potential legal hurdles for publishing research data as openly accessible research data (ORD). Prof. Thouvenin and his team analysed the legal situation on the federal level in Switzerland and elaborated a template for a ORD guideline to be used and implemented by the six ETH Institutions.
Prof Thouvenin will present the main findings of the report and the ORD guideline template.
