So apparently MySpace is trying to make a comeback and we're all for it! This experience merges together the music that brought all the feels to our profiles with a zine workshop inspired by those HTML MySpace wallpapers and the 2000s. Let's create a place for friends :)
2:30pm-3:45pm Beginner/Intermediate Modern Contemporary dance class with Blank Space
4:00pm-5:30pm Zine Making Workshop with Week to Weekend
Modern contemporary dance breaks away from the rigid structure of classical ballet to focus on raw emotion, gravity, and freedom of movement. The Zine workshop is a hands-on creative session where people learn to design and fold their own self-published mini-magazines.

Veronica is the founder of Blank Space, a Guam-based movement initiative centered on creativity, community, and fun. Through curated pop-up classes and guest collaborations, Blank Space welcomes people of all experience levels to explore dance in a pressure-free environment.

Marissa is the creative behind Week to Weekend, a Guam-based lifestyle publication and creative community centered around storytelling, making things and finding more ways to play IRL.

Where is Breaking Wave Theatre Company HQ?
BWTC HQ is located at 385 Route 33 #3, Mongmong-Toto-Maite, 96910, Guam. Parking is available at the open lot next to the building. Please do not park in front of the convenience store or the laundromat.
When do you arrive?
We recommend arriving 10-15 mins before the experience starts so you can sign in and get settled.
What do you wear?
Wear comfortable clothes you can freely move in. Socks, sneakers or flat dance shoes are suitable for this class. Steer away from rocker style sneakers.
What do you bring?
A bottle of water and an open mind.
What level is this dance class?
This class is suitable for beginner and intermediate dancers. Modifications will be provided when needed.
What experience is needed for the Zine workshop?
No experience needed. Come as you are.
