The trans+ skate collective Transkaters have partnered with the one-of-a-kind skate park Canopy on the Isle Of Wight to create a safe, calming, fun and inclusive environment to skate, learn new tricks and enjoy a remote woodland glade filled with LGBTQIA+ siblings.
Canopy has a beautiful, hand-built indoor wooden skatepark, lush green fields and camping facilities. Transkaters' skate retreat will involve as much skating as you'd like, with the option for skate lessons, plant-based food, campfires and wholesome activities. The Transkaters retreat is set to be a healing space for LGBTQIA+ people to connect with their bodies, nature and friends.
The event is open to LGBTQIA+ individuals, and no skating experience is required. The Members Tickets are for trans+ skaters, and the Public Tickets are for the rest of the LGBTQIA+ acronym. The event is for people interested in skateboarding, rollerskating, rollerblading, and wheelchair and mobility users very welcome. More info on specific activities will be added closer to the time, with the option to add-on home-cooked food etc.

This is the ultimate home from home experience. Our cabin includes - one double bed in a private room (sleeps two), two bunk beds in one room (sleeps four), private toilet and shower, fully equipped kitchen, fridge, cooker/oven, dining space, lounge, smart tv, bedding, electric, all set in ancient woodland.
This ticket covers one space in the cabin. If you have a group of people you want to share with please let us know. Just to confirm the cabin has space for up to six people. Two people will need to share a double bed. If requested we can limited it to five people.
If you need to cancel for any reason, please note that we offer a full refund for cancellations made up to two weeks prior to the event. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a refund for cancellations made after that date, as we may not be able to fill the space on such short notice.
