Football, Friends & Memories.

An event which has been put together by a group of likeminded people who are passionate about supporting Alzheimer’s and recognising its impact on people in the local community – many of which have a lived experience too, making it all the more meaningful.

Purposely coincided to run during Alzheimer’s Awareness week, taking place on the afternoon of Wednesday 20th May at Chesterfield Football Club.

Through Football we will be making Friends and creating Memories to last a lifetime.

In essence, throughout the event, we are trying to bring back the memories of children being taken to football, by their parent/relative - who maybe now are sadly losing them to Alzheimer's, and these memories have started to/already have faded. We're looking to prove that football can still be inclusive - but maybe just in different ways.
