NOT SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS
In this 3-night wheel throwing workshop led by Iza Lozano, you will learn to:
Use stains to colour your clay, layer and wedge different stains to create a marbled effect on the wheel.
You will be making on the first session, then trimming on the second session to reveal a mesmerising surface, and glazing on your final session.
Skill level: Level 1 previous experience.
Stains and clay available to purchase in share bags - only purchase what you want to use!
Nivel: All Levels, Beginner Level 1
Please wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, and bring your own apron and an old towel to class. You are also able to hire an apron and towel for a $10 laundering fee - please ask your tutor about hiring these when you arrive.
We recommend:
Clothing that allows freedom of movement
Closed-toe shoes
Tie back long hair
Remove rings and jewellery
Please Note:
We cannot offer make-up classes if you are absent. Your tutor will do their best to catch you up when you return.
All completed work must be collected from The Clay Centre within 6 weeks of receiving your collection email. Work will not be stored after 6 weeks due to space constraints.
