NEW Curriculum hub - Social Sciences Hub (Sociology, Psychology, Law, Criminology)

ConnectEd Partnership's and the City of Wolverhampton Local Authority are working in partnership to provide support for secondary schools during the Teacher Assessed Grading process for GCSE, AS and A Levels. As requested after the senior leader’s consultation event, we have sought to provide an opportunity for subject leaders to meet together to discuss the process and provide a forum for additional moderation of the range of evidence required for the TAGs.

Our existing Curriculum Hubs will be used to support this and are listed below, with some dates brought forward so that the TAGs deadline can be met comfortably. This opportunity should not replace the internal moderation planned by individual schools. It is designed to assist with judgements made and present an opportunity a forum to discuss with other colleagues beyond the school to help with grading. This was deemed especially valuable for departments with small numbers of staff or for A level subjects with sole teachers responsible for grading.
