Technique sessions for experienced dancers aged 50 and over. These sessions were put in place for our Making Waves performance company (who create new work and perform) but are open to any dancers aged 50 and over who would be interested in joining the company in September. The aim of the sessions is to develop technique in a supportive environment.
These sessions will be run by different dance artists each week and will be based on contemporary technique. The aim of these sessions is to improve performance and technical skills eg accuracy of movement, musicality, focus, transitions, expression and projection.

We'd recommend you wear loose, comfortable clothing you can move in - t-shirt and leggings/joggers are ideal - layers you can add or remove, bare feet or soft soled shoes, and bring water.
