Hand-building with clay is an ancient art and this course teaches how to make ceramics using pinch pots, coiling and slab building. You will learn how to manipulate the clay using these traditional methods and then how to enhance your pieces with a range of surface decoration techniques.

wk 1= play with clay and talk about the clock project
wk 2 +3= design your clock at home
wk 4,5+6= make the clock with David's demos and guidance
