Come and learn some straps fundamentals!
This is a structured and progressive 6-week course suitable for those with a little experience in straps OR anyone who can invert to a tuck on aerial equipment from the floor and don't mind a little conditioning!
Matt Thompson will run these classes for up to 6 participants.
You will develop your technique on both apparatus including conditioning exercises as well as tricks and moves.
Pre-requisities: Invert to a tuck from the floor on a piece of aerial equipment.
Useful skills: inverted Straddle, a pull up, a mini kitten.
The course will run on Fridays, 7:40-9:10pm, from the 6th November - 18th December, inclusive but NOT on the 13th of November.
Please note the course must be booked in advance of attendance. You can book for the full course or, if there is space, you can book after the course has started and attend the remaining weeks. The course price automatically deducts after each class has run.
If you want to book a course but can't make all of the dates, you may be able to catch-up in another class. Please see our Catch-up Policy, attached below.
If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of Covid or any other contagious illness please do not attend class.
Greentop reserves the right to cancel this course with 7 days' notice in the event of it being undersubscribed. In this case your full fee will be reimbursed.
If you purchase a place on this course and subsequently find that you are unable to take it up please email admin@greentop.org to let us know. We will try and resell your place in which case you will be reimbursed. Unfortunately, we will not be able to reimburse you unless we resell your place, and this is not guaranteed.
Any refund will be subject to a £2.50 fee (for refunds up to £20) or £3.50 fee (for refunds over £20) to cover bank charges.
New participants should arrive up to 15 minutes early in order to fill out a medical/ consent form.
Please wear clothing which covers your skin (including a long-sleeved top), but nothing with zips, studs etc. and no jewellery which may damage the equipment. Also ensure nails are short.
You may want jeggings or thicker layers plus coverings for forearms/ wrists. Some wrist coverings e.g. tubigrip bandage will be provided.
If the tutors consider that you are inappropriately dressed for the activity, you may not be allowed to take part and a refund will not be offered.
