Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SMEs) with under 250 staff members in Horsham District are invited to participate in a new Carbon Literacy training course being delivered by Horsham District Council.
The carbon literacy course is an accredited course which will help you understand the causes and impacts of climate change, the role that SMEs and local authorities have in influencing action on climate change, and the wider benefits that can come from the transition to a low carbon economy. These include improved health, cleaner air, better access to green spaces and greater resilience to extreme weather.
This one-day course will help you understand why climate change is occurring, provide you with the knowledge and skills to take action against climate change, and give you the opportunity to be certified as Carbon Literate. Come along, wherever you are on your sustainability journey, to learn and connect with other SMEs on this important topic.
There will be some short pre- and post- course work to gain the Carbon Literate certification.
