Begin your professional massage journey with our comprehensive Swedish Full Body Massage Training course.
This two-day practical course provides students with the knowledge, skills and confidence required to deliver a professional Swedish full body massage treatment safely and effectively.
Across two full training days, you will learn consultation and client care, contraindications and precautions, treatment planning, therapist posture and body mechanics, appropriate pressure and a comprehensive range of traditional Swedish massage techniques. You will learn how to combine these techniques into a complete professional full body massage routine and adapt your treatment to individual client needs.
Training takes place in a small, supportive group with a maximum of six students, allowing plenty of time for practical tuition, individual guidance and feedback.

Anatomy & Physiology: Students may attend the practical training before completing their Anatomy & Physiology qualification. However, the appropriate Anatomy & Physiology qualification must be successfully completed before applying for professional insurance to practise.
Students may also be required to complete post-course case studies and other assessment requirements before certification. Full details will be provided as part of the course.
This course is suitable for beginners wishing to gain the practical skills and knowledge needed to begin offering professional Swedish massage treatments.
Nivel: Beginner
Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before the course start time on both training days to allow time to settle in and prepare for the day.
Please wear comfortable, practical clothing suitable for giving and receiving massage treatments. This is a highly practical course and students will work with one another throughout both training days.
Students will both give and receive full body massage treatments as part of their practical training. Appropriate professional draping and client dignity will be maintained throughout.
Please bring your course manual and any materials or coursework that have been provided to you.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided on both training days. Please let us know in advance about any dietary requirements or allergies.
Anatomy & Physiology is a mandatory entry requirement for this course. Students must have successfully completed an appropriate Anatomy & Physiology qualification before attending the practical training.
If you do not currently hold an appropriate Anatomy & Physiology qualification, please contact us before booking. We can provide guidance on obtaining the required qualification prior to attending the course. Evidence of your qualification may be requested.
As this is a practical course, please contact us before attending if you have any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, are pregnant, or have any other circumstances that may affect your ability to safely give or receive massage treatments.
Following the practical training, students may be required to complete case studies and additional assessment work before their final certificate can be issued. Full instructions, guidance and ongoing tutor support will be provided.
Successful completion of all required practical and theoretical elements of the course is required for certification.
