This full-day training offers a grounded and practical introduction to trauma-informed practice, exploring how trauma is experienced, transmitted, and held across developmental,
intergenerational, and historical contexts. Participants build awareness of how trauma shapes behaviour, relationships, and systems and how intentional responses can reduce harm and support regulation, dignity, and connection. Through applied strategies, the training emphasizes emotional, physical, cultural, and psychological safety, while examining how values such as choice and control, collaboration and connection, and cultural humility can meaningfully influence interactions, everyday practice, and overall workplace wellbeing.
