Weekly Problem Solving Classes for 2 months

  1. Non-member will receive membership benefits till the end of school year, June 2024
  2. Scholarships available.
  3. Read bio of leaders below: Ruth Estabrook has over 20 years of teaching and coaching experience in middle school and high school math . She began teaching as a Peace Corps volunteer in Niger, and has since taught in New York City, Gabon, Burkina Faso, New Hampshire at Exeter, and Maine. She holds a master’s degree in math education from Columbia University Teachers College.

She is now working as a senior math editor for a textbook company and serves on the OMC Board of Directors.

Sharanya co-founded Counting and Probability course for girls as well as an introductory Python interactive class for elementary school students as part of her OMC capstone project. Sharanya has won various math awards – she is a Gold Medalist in the MathCON National Finals and a national rank holder in Math Kangaroo. She qualified for the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) for the past three years. Sharanya was selected to do original research through the OMC-UF research program at the UF School of Medicine Systems Laboratory. She has over three years of teaching experience and will be attending Columbia University in the fall to study mathematics and computer science.
