🌊 Learn the Eight Silk Brocades and Embrace the Serenity of Winter 🌊
Welcome to Winter Chillout Qigong for 2024, where you'll learn the Eight Silk Brocades and discover the soothing power of the water element and practices designed to support you during the winter season. I plan to focus on the Eight Silk Brocades to begin the year but we'll be focussing on how the element of water can support us through this season with an emphasis on strengthening our bones; listening deeply and facing our fears.

What to Expect:
These practices will help you find inner balance, serenity, and resilience. You will build your focus and inner strength. The eight silk brocades or Baduanjin are an ancient practice and early mentions of this form date back to 1150. This particular set of practices are gentle and accessible but are renowned for their benefits to: improved energy, vitality, bone density, strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. I'll be interspersing the course with forms and meditations to support our health during winter.
Price:
£50 for all six sessions when booked together - use the course ticket for this.
£11 for drop-in sessions - £2 off each class when booking three or more sessions at one time (3 sessions = £27; 4 sessions = £36; 5 sessions = £45). Click on the dates you can attend to add them to your basket and then checkout - the discount will be automatically applied.)

Arrival Time: Please aim to arrive five minutes early to ensure a smooth start to our practice. This will allow you to settle in.
Parking and Bicycles: There is convenient car parking available at the venue, so you can arrive stress-free. If you prefer to cycle, rest assured that there's a secure space to lock up your bicycles.
Public Transport: For those using public transport, there are nearby bus stops, making it easy to reach our location. Feel free to ask if you need any assistance with directions.
Attire: Please wear loose and comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. Layers are a great idea to help you stay warm and cosy throughout the session.
Hydration: You're welcome to bring a water bottle to keep hydrated during our practice. Staying hydrated is essential for a rejuvenating experience.
Seated Practice: I want everyone to feel comfortable, so please know that we have chairs available if you prefer to do the practice seated. You can choose what feels right for you.
Cosy Comfort: To ensure you feel extra snug and cosy, bring along some extra layers to wrap yourself in. Embrace the winter chillout in style!

This is a drop-in ticket if you aren't sure if you can attend all dates. If you can come to 3 or more sessions and know the dates an automatic £2 discount per class will be applied to the total when you buy them at once. Add the dates you can attend to your basket and when you check out the classes will be automatically discounted.
