Once a month join in the family fun that is led by you in our beautiful new woodland site in Weeton
Each month we make a plan together which may include games, nature craft, bush craft, tools, fire, cooking and more and then come together as a community to make it happen.
Bonus! If you book three or more Family forest school sessions you get £1 per session per child.
All lead by a forest school level 3 practitioner with a forests school ethos of participant led play and learning

Suitable for ages 0-100 years.
The sessions goes ahead in all weathers (with exceptions for dangerous conditions) so be prepared with layers and long sleeves and legs.
Please arrive ten minutes before the sessions so you get to the woods at 1pm ready to start. Remember the post code and pins will not take you directly there as the site is on private roads so please follow the directions on the confirmation email.
If you have any symptoms of Covid - 19 or have been in contact with anyone with symptoms please do not attend. This includes a chesty cough and high temperature.
Extra hand washing stations will be in place. Please use them before and after the session to protect the landowners and farmers sharing the gates.
Please do not use antibac gel near open flame 🔥 it is made from alcohol and is highly flammable.
Relax and have some fun in our 4 acre private woodland.
Remember to bring a cup or water bottle and snack if you would like one. We will occasionally look at seasonal food but a regular snack is not provided.

We meet in Lucas Flash woods in Weeton Barracks in Weeton Village. Take the turning from Singleton Road B5260 signposted for Weeton Primary School. Follow this road over the speed bumps pass the zebra crossing and take a left to the sports pavillion and park in that car park. Please DO NOT PARK ON THE MAIN ROAD in and out of the site.
Alternative parking is on Inkerman Road, which is the first left as you enter the barracks from Singleton road. This is a dead end road so we can use this for parking on one side
As it is a private site postcodes and pins will not direct you to the right place. The nearest post code you can use is PR4 3HX for the primary school which will take you to the outside of the baracks then follow the directions.
