FREE Practical Craft Workshop
Learn traditional peg-and-dowel green woodworking techniques to create a simple rustic wooden coat hook from natural branches.
This practical workshop will introduce you to using hand tools and natural materials to create your own unique and useful wooden hanger.
All tools and materials will be provided, and your finished piece can be entered into the Made & Grown – Autumn Garden & Craft Awards.

This practical workshops form part of the West Midlands Grow & Garden 2026: Made & Grown – Autumn Garden & Craft Awards.
Come along, learn a new skill and make or grow an entry for the competition. Tools and materials required for the workshops will be provided.
This is a practical activity and may take place outdoors, so please come dressed appropriately for the weather and wear clothes and footwear that you don't mind getting dirty.
Free drinks will be provided.
These workshops are provided free of charge with support from The National Lottery Community Fund.
