We’re excited to bring back our much‑loved T‑shirt Design activity this summer, now with a twist! Sew Collective will be joining us build on the children's creativity while making sure everyone leaves with something unique that they are proud of.
Each child will personalise their own T-shirt using a combination of fabric decoration and simple sewing techniques. Using a selection of colourful fabric shapes, letters, petals, stars, hearts and other decorative pieces they will be able to create their own design before attaching the elements to their T-shirt, giving every child a finished piece that is completely their own.
The session will run in two groups. While one group is creating their T‑shirts, the other group will enjoy our relaxed Stay & Play offer at Maple House School, with access to the hall, outdoor areas, and the dining/community room.
The session is fully child‑led, with a wide range of toys and equipment available. Children can explore, play and unwind in a safe, secure environment while grown‑ups get time to chat and relax.
This summer we’re also introducing brand‑new sensory equipment, including a spinning seat, dark den, weighted blankets, vibrating cushions, additional visuals and talking buttons.
On arrival please access school through the Community Garden on Bournville Green where you will be met by a SEND Socials representative who will check you in to the session.
Please note: We do not offer childcare and parent / carers are to remain with their child(ren) and upport them at all times for all of our sessions
