CPD Training: Vaccination and Immunisation (2-day course)

This two-day, face to face training course will be delivered on 28th AND 30th July. You must attend BOTH days.

PLEASE NOTE: Nurses/AHPs working in Primary Care in South Yorkshire are eligible to register for the training.

Qualified staff working in primary Care in South Yorkshire can apply to attend the training.

The training course has been developed inline with the ‘National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training for Registered Healthcare Practitioners’

It is aimed at Registered Nurses (RN) working in Primary Care with no prior knowledge of immunisations and is a complete initial course.

We will cover the 12 core knowledge areas for immunisation to embed essential skills and build confidence.

This will be delivered through an interactive learning style including scenario-based case studies, small group work and collaborative, competitive quizzes!

The session is closed with a discussion of the competency framework and how to move this new knowledge from the classroom to the consultation room.

It is expected that the RN will complete the online e-learning programme alongside this course and can update their learning annually via the same ‘e-learning for health’ module.
