Join Pink Bamboo for a 3-Week Guided Open Play Series designed for players who have already completed a beginner Mahjong class and are ready for more practice in a supportive and social environment.
Whether you’re looking to strengthen your understanding of the card, improve your strategy, gain confidence calling tiles, or simply enjoy playing with others each week, this series is the perfect next step.
Each session includes:
• Guided open play with experienced instructors available to answer questions
• All Mahjong supplies including tiles, racks, and the current National Mah Jongg League card
• Strategy tips and skill-building throughout the game
• Help reading and interpreting the National Mah Jongg League card
• Support with Charleston decisions, exposures, joker exchanges, and calling for Mahjong
• Opportunities to learn from real game situations
• A welcoming community of players at a similar skill level
This is not a formal lesson class—it’s hands-on learning through play. Our instructors will circulate throughout the room, offering guidance, answering questions, and helping you develop the confidence needed to play independently.

Please note: This Mahjong Open Play Series is designed as a three-session program, and registration covers all three dates. We encourage participants to attend the full series to get the most out of the experience and build confidence with the game.
If you are interested in participating but are only able to attend one or two sessions, please contact us before registering. In some cases, we may be able to offer a limited drop-in option at a special rate, subject to availability.
