Datos

This is the first Year of a concentrated course specifically for Worldschoolers of tried and tested projects that are regularly delivered at T&S to engender inovation and making capability.
The focus is on Designing through making utilising CAD CAM as well as craft skills with a consideration for batch production and enterprise.

Projects have multiple starting points and are cyclical in nature rather than linear. This means that multiple versions of a product may be proptotyped before a final solution is selected.
We are interested in how a product functions and meets user needs.

Contexts for projects broadly include designing gliders, a wide range of buggies with and without control/power; lighting and other useful things you may have in mind!

The fee includes students CAD CAM software to use at home with a view to continuing your design studies through a distance learning/world school community with future meetups and collaborative projects.

Ages: 11–16 | Max Participants: 12 | Duration: 10 days (Mon–Fri × 2 weeks)
Dates: Mon Aug 10th - Fri Aug 21st
