DIY 2 Day Plumbing Intensive - Course for Women MORETONHAMPSTEAD

Have you ever wanted to be able to deal with plumbing issues yourself, like fixing a leak or plumbing in a washing machine for example? Imagine not having to call someone else to do the job!

In this 2 day course you will learn how to carry out small plumbing installations yourself! You will also learn about the different water systems in your house and how to isolate your water supply so you can work on it safely.

Day 1 will cover the different types of pipes made from copper and plastic, compression and push fittings, and when to use them. You'll also learn about different types of waste pipes and how to cut and join them - and which are the right tools for the job.

Day 2 will start off by you fixing a leak in a pipe with the skills learnt on Day 1. You will then learn how to install a water supply and a waste water pipe to an new area of the house / room if you want to add / move a washing machine for example. You'll learn how to take out and replace a tired old tap and you'll be able to transfer what you have learnt to many different plumbing situations.

This course deals with small plumbing installations. It’s one of our popular DIY Courses for Women, no previous knowledge is required to take part in the course.
