Our Warm Hub provides a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where young people and members of the local homeless community can access free hot food and drinks in a warm and supportive environment. The hub is designed to meet immediate needs while also promoting dignity, wellbeing, and social connection for those who may be experiencing hardship, isolation, or food insecurity.
Through the Warm Hub, we offer freshly prepared hot meals and hot drinks at no cost, ensuring that individuals are able to stay warm, nourished, and supported during colder periods and times of increased need. For many attendees, this may be their only access to a hot meal that day, making the service vital to their physical health and overall wellbeing.
The hub also plays an important role in bringing young people together with the wider community. By involving young people in volunteering, engagement, and positive interaction, the Warm Hub helps to build empathy, life skills, and a strong sense of social responsibility. These interactions break down barriers between generations and communities, creating a more connected and compassionate local area.
Beyond food and warmth, the Warm Hub provides a friendly, non-judgemental space where people can talk, feel listened to, and be signposted to further support services where appropriate. This holistic approach ensures that both young people and homeless individuals feel valued, supported, and part of the community.
