Our Forest Garden School returns for a series of Winter workshops this March at our community gardens in Margate!
This is a block of 4 sessions start on Tuesday 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st March from 1 - 3pm
This four-week program is a fantastic chance for children to build on previous learning and experiences in a supportive, nature-based environment. We have space for up to 12 families, and activities are designed for children aged 3 to 9 years old.
Through play and hands-on exploration, we’ll discover our role within the ecosystem, practice primitive Neolithic skills, and learn how the Permaculture Ethics—Earth Care, People Care, and Fair Share—can help shape a more positive future.
As the weather is s little colder this time of year, we will have our log burner on and cosy spaces to explore. But please dress for the weather.
The workshops will be led by Helen, who brings over 35 years of experience working with children, along with extensive training in Forest School, Children in Permaculture, Nature Connection, and Forest Gardening.

PLEASE NOTE: Children remain the responsibility of their Parent/Carer at all times whilst onsite of our community gardens.

This group is held at our Community Gardens. This is located at the corner of Dane Valley Road and College Road Margate CT9 2SH.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
You can reach us with bus number 34 and the stop is located on Upper Dane Road near Fitzroy Avenue.
PARKING:
There is no onsite parking but we are located on a long road called Dane Valley Road which has plenty of FREE parking.
BIKES and BUGGIES
These can be stored onsite, please ask a member of staff where best to store these.
