We begin deep in the Cairngorms, where the roads tighten, the air sharpens, and civilisation politely steps aside.
Dalmunzie Castle Hotel is our opening base — a remote Edwardian castle tucked into a glen so peaceful it feels slightly smug about it.

We head north into the Highlands’ quieter, wilder sibling — where the roads straighten, the horizons widen, and traffic becomes a rumour. By now you are feeling comfortable, settled into a groove and beginning to wonder why all days cannot be like this?

🌅 19 & 20 MAY — SHIELDAIG LODGE (2 NIGHTS)

Now we drop into pure cinematic territory.
Shieldaig Lodge sits quietly on the shores of Loch Gairloch, surrounded by mountains, sea air and some of the most spectacular driving roads anywhere in the British Isles.
