The 18th Edition of the IET Electrical Wiring Regulations are aimed at practicing electricians, electrical contractors and those who need to have a good working knowledge of electrical wiring. There are no formal entry requirements although relevant electrical experience would be an advantage.
Course Schedule
3 - Days Training (In Centre)
Start time: 09:30
Finish time: 16:30
Instructions
On arrival, please report to Main Reception, arrival of at least 10 minutes before the course/exam start time is recommended. When you arrive, you are welcome to help yourself to a complimentary tea or coffee.
On-Line exam
Please note that an On-Line multiple choice exam will be included on the final day of the course. The On-Line exam must be passed to achieve certification.
This course is suitable for all levels, but a basic knowledge of electrical installations and terminology is recommended.
Car Parking
Free parking is available all day. Please abide by the rules of the car park by not parking in front of units that require access and only park in designated spaces.
Vehicle Registration
To avoid parking charges please ensure you have given us your vehicle registration number so we can arrange allocated parking.
Identification
Delegates attending examinations must bring Photographic ID with them on the exam date. Suitable examples include a passport, JIB card or Driving Licence (with photo).
Books Required
Delegates require copies of the books listed below. Electronic versions are allowed during the course but are strictly prohibited during written/online exams and practical assessments. All publications must be the current version in line with BS7671:2018 as amended.

Stationery
Delegates are advised to bring a highlighter pen and/or colour tabs for referencing purposes.
Calculator
Delegates should bring a scientific calculator when attending this course.
Cancelling & Rescheduling
If you wish to cancel or reschedule this course, the following cancellation and rescheduling charges apply:
• A non-refundable fee of £95 +VAT is included in the price to cover awarding organisation registration fees.
• Bookings cancelled with more than 14 days’ notice will be refunded less the £95 +VAT fee.
• Bookings transferred to an alternative booking at any stage will incur an additional £95 +VAT fee.
• Bookings cancelled with less than 14 days’ notice or previously transferred to a later date are non-refundable.
Examination Re-sits: The price for a re-sit for any examination is £95 +VAT
