Taxation issues for existing Clergy

Dan has been with Tax Management for Clergy for the last six years. He is a fully Chartered Tax Adviser with the CIOT and a fully qualified member of the Association of Taxation Technicians. The session is mainly aimed around explaining how the self-assessment system works, what new curates will need to know about, why they need to complete Tax Returns, how to complete those Tax Returns and crucially a breakdown of the kind of expenses that ministers can claim within their roles. The idea is to arm all new curates with the knowledge required so that they can conduct their ministry with confidence knowing what is expected of them from a taxation point of view. There is also usually a question and answer session at the end where he can answer any questions that people may have.
