Most family lawyers have or will, in the course of practice, encounter issues involving mental health on a regular basis. Yet many, perhaps most, do not encounter the provisions of the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act. Dr Mark Fisher, Clinical Head for Mental Health Services for Older People at Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, Family Court Judge Hana Ellis, FLS Deputy Chair Andrew Finnie and FLS executive member Liz Lewes will present this one-hour, broad brush, beginners’ introduction to the Act. The webinar will cover:
Date: 18 November – 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm
Cost: FLS members: $50 | Non-members: $85
CPD: 1 CPD hour
We encourage you to register even if you are unavailable to attend on that date as a recording of the webinar and CPD form will be provided to all registrants following the webinar.
