I am the Director and founder of Forest Adventurers and it's an absolute joy to be a part of our wonderful communities, sharing my passion for forest school and outdoor learning with children and families.

After an initial and really exciting career in film and television and project coordination, I decided to get a 'proper job' so that we could settle down with a house, marriage and children. When my eldest was 6 months old I began my PGCE and qualified as a primary school teacher. I taught in primary schools for 11 years and it was at my last school that I discovered Forest School.

I qualified as a Forest School teacher in 2016, left my permanent teaching job and delivered my first Forest Adventurers sessions in September of that year. I've never looked back!

I absolutely love my work and meeting new children and their families and I love nothing more than seeing a muddy, marshmallowy child grinning at me. It makes me feel so proud of everything that we have achieved together.

I plan to expand Forest Adventurers this year with a wonderful team in order for more and more children to share our adventures.
