Details

Come and join us to carve your very own wooden spoon in the beautiful grounds at the centre.

In the four hour workshop you will learn how to source the best wood to whittle with, the different techniques of spoon carving and create your own beautiful spoon to take away, all sat around a fire.

This is beginner class so no previous experience needed.
You will learn how to safely use various knives and hand tools and feel confident in beginner whittling.

Tea, coffee and a social chat available after at the Centre

Instructions

If travelling by car, please park at Waterstone crook car park and make your way up to the centre. We have limited parking at the Centre which is reserved for blue badge holders and those with limited mobility only.

By making a booking, you are agreeing to these terms.

CANCELLATIONS
Refunds - can be issued up to 2 weeks before classes begin, minus a £10 booking fee.
No refunds can be offered for non-attendance .
If a course is cancelled by the Centre due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be issued with a full /pro- rata refund.

Please be advised that the road leading up to the property is privately owned and maintained by another landowner, and that the streets surrounding the Centre are owned and maintained by Fife Council. The safety of visitors to Forgan Arts Centre is important to us, so please be careful on your travels by foot or transport.

Tea and coffee is available at the Centre. If attending a day long course or workshop, please bring a packed lunch. We do not have a café.
