Saturday 3 August, 2-9pm
Forgan Arts Centre and Big Rock Records join forces to bring you a new music and arts festival in the centre’s lush grounds and gardens.
Join us in Newport-on-Tay for an afternoon and evening of live music and art at Lughnasadh Festival. The line up is headlined by Scottish musician, Hamish Hawk, who’s new album, A Firmer Hand, will be released this summer. Paragon’s of Glasgow’s DIY scene, Free Love, will join Hamish, as well as Dundee’s own Jutebox and Theo Bleak. More musicians and artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
Music is selected by Newport-on-Tay’s own, Big Rock Records, and will be complimented with art interventions curated by Hanifah Sogbanmu.
Please note, there are a variety of ticket types with the standard ticket being £25. You can mix and match the ticket types. Children under 3 years attend free, but still require a ticket.
There is NO parking at Forgan Arts Centre. Please use active travel and public transport where possible.
This is an all weather event. Bring layers and waterproofs in case the weather turns.
You are welcome to bring picnic blankets, foldable furniture, and your own food. No alcohol should be brought on site from home.
