This workshop with Kevin Andrew Morris, is for pottery students with a basic understanding of and interest in pottery glazes. The workshop introduces participants to the basics of making and
applying glazes. This ceramics course offers the chance for intermediate students to make and apply their own glazes onto pre-made bisque ware and test tiles. All work will be fired after the class and be available to pick up at a later date.

Course Content and Structure:
Introduction to the basic principles of making coloured glazes, application and surface decoration. Glaze mixing and application demonstration – pouring, dipping, and brushing techniques. Preparing paper resists for glazing. Mixing and developing your own glaze experimenting with a variety of
techniques

If travelling by car, please park at Waterstone crook car park and make your way up to the centre. We have limited parking at the Centre which is reserved for blue badge holders and those with limited mobility only.

CANCELLATIONS
Refunds - can be issued up to 2 weeks before classes begin, minus a £10 booking fee.
No refunds can be offered for non-attendance .
If a course is cancelled by the Centre due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be issued with a full /pro- rata refund.
