Learn how easy it is to make your own artists grade charcoal for drawing. We'll be using garden scraps and offcuts of willow from basketry workshops.
Bring a packed lunch and join us around the fire as we make our own charcoal. All materials provided. Bring a container to take charcoal away with you and a sketchbook if you want to try it out.
This is a relaxed drop-in afternoon around the fire, making, drawing and meeting new people. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult as we'll be working with fire.
If travelling by car, please park at Waterstone crook car park and make your way up to the centre. We have limited parking at the Centre which is reserved for blue badge holders and those with limited mobility only.

Tea and coffee is available at the Centre. If attending a day long course or workshop, please bring a packed lunch. We do not have a café.
